An annual highlight of the WWII Heritage Days weekend, the “Keep ‘em Flying” swing dance and dinner begins at 6:00 PM on Saturday, April 22nd at the CAF Dixie Wing Historical Air Power Facility.
Harken back to the 1940's as the Big Band sounds of Glenn Miller and Tommy Dorsey gets your toes tapping! An incredibly fun evening; dining and dancing amongst Warbirds, uniformed reenactors, WWII Veterans and live entertainment!
Described as “one of the best bands in Atlanta”, the Peachtree Jazz Edition has a loyal swing dance following and is returning to “Keep ‘em Flying” for the 12th straight year. Based in Peachtree City, the 21 piece band recreates the atmosphere of WWII by playing a wide array of tunes from the big band era of the 30s and 40s, including Glen Miller, Benny Goodman and Tommy Dorsey. http://sites.google.com/site/peachtreejazzedition/
