Aviation Photography Workshop

RE-ENACTORS, VINTAGE AIRCRAFT AND MILITARY VEHICLES!

Join 3G Aviation Media for a variety of photo experiences on Saturday and Sunday (21-22 April 2018) at the CAF Dixie Wing's WWII Heritage Days.  Photograph vintage military aircraft along with reenactors, learn new photography skills and even get a chance to eat a Spam-burger!  We have partnered with the CAF Dixie Wing previously at the Atlanta Warbird Weekend, and are proud to partner with them to bring photographers to this unique event.

Full Day PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP

Join us on Saturday 21 April 2018 for a photo workshop mixing historic aircraft with professional reenactors wearing period clothing!  In addition to the reenactors, there will be several vehicles and encampments all adding to the feel that you are immersed in the Second World War.  Workshop attendees will be able to choose between several stations set up by the 3G team with staged photoshoots intended to teach specific photography techniques.  There will also be plenty of time to roam the encampments, visit the flight-line and witness reenactors engage in mock battles throughout the day.  (This workshop does not include the Sunday Sunrise Photoshoot, that is a separately ticketed workshop.)

SUNDAY SUNRISE PHOTOSHOOT

Purchase access to the CAF Dixie Wing's sunrise photoshoot on Sunday 22 April, to photograph the aircraft with a smaller crowd, all in the beauty of sunrise lighting. This sunrise shoot will give attendees an opportunity to capture aircraft on the flightline without the crowds before the sunrise.  Sunrise is at 6:59 AM, and gates will open at the start of morning twilight at 6:30 AM.   Photographers will be able to stay on the flightline until the gates open to the public at 9 AM - and then the fun of day #2 begins!  (This workshop does not include the Full Day Photography Workshop, that is a separately ticketed workshop.)

CAF Members can attend the Sunrise photoshoot for FREE! (But, please register.)
